The three lions England won Colombia in penalties to qualify for the world cup quarter final

England knocked out Colombia yesterday in a Penalty shoot-out, to qualify for the world cup quarter final for the first time since 2006. Harry Kane gave England the lead with a penalty goal in the 57th minute, making him the highest goal scorer so far in the competition with 6 goals. Unfortunately, Colombia equalised the game with a late minute goal in the 94th minute, to make the game 1-1, and the teams went in to play 30 minutes extra time, and was still balanced. The game went into penalty and England won by 4-3 in penalties. It was a great victory for England and the Gareth Southgate's boys will play Sweden on Saturday 7th at 3pm in the quarter final stage.
